Nature Rocks!
Our second annual Nature Rocks! was a blast. 1200 visitors, mostly children and families, stopped by on a beautiful October Sunday afternoon to learn about nature, ecology and wildlife. There was face painting and rock painting, Monarch butterflies, bees, rocks, trash pick-up, pinecone peanut-butter bird feeders, build an insect from recycled “stuff”, bagpipe and string music, pine seedlings, lemonade and cookies – so much fun! Curiosity and laughter filled the Gardens.
